Introduction to Aircraft Maintenance is the first of a series of four textbooks written by Avotek for the beginning aviation maintenance student in accordance to standard A&P part 147 curriculum The General section provides the fundamentals to prepare a student for the later airframe and powerplant sections. subjects covered include math and physics, basic aerodynamics, and aircraft controls and components, tools, hardware, fluid lines, blueprint reading, basic electricity, inspection techniques, and federal aviation regulations. This is a well written book with clear drawings and photos, and does a good job explaining this fundamental material clear and understandable way.
